Tenerife is a volcanic island that has been sculpted over time by several effusions.
It has a wonderful mix of dramatic landscapes and sub-tropical climate with temperatures ranging from lows of 17 °C in winter to highs of 28 °C in the hotter month.
It was my first time visiting Tenerife and I really enjoyed it although I stayed only for 5 nights but it was enough to explore the island , this time South Tenerife.
Here are 5 reasons to visit Tenerife.
1. THE FOOD
Wherever I go at first I have to try their local cuisine , especially if they have a sea food , yes I am a big big fan of the sea food .
And so it begins we found a wonderful local restaurant in Playa de la Americas called Blue Cactus they have various range of food start with the fresh sea food and finish with the steaks , if you are going to be in Playa de la Americas – you have to check that restaurant you will not regret , I promise. P.S. They make really good cocktails !
Second place where I am definitely going back is Chocoloco Italian pancake shop in Palm Mar – no doubts they make the best waffles and pancakes ever , as well as delicious Italian ice-creams .
And the third place is – Bahia Beach in Palm Mar it is a restaurant and a beach club with the stunning view to the ocean.
They also serve delightful alcoholic & non-alcoholic cocktails .
2.DOLPHINS AND WHALE WATCHING
Discover whale and dolphin watching in a luxury 3 hour private sailing yacht charter to see whales and dolphins, swim and snorkel with turtles.
I had surely pleasant experience watching them!
The beaches in Tenerife are marvelous , start with the southern coast – Playa de la Americas and Los Christianos are two well -known holiday hotspots with gorgeous sandy beaches and easy access into the ocean. Also in the south there is one beach called El Medano , the home of surfers.
And one more interesting fact about famous Tenerife’s black sand beach – is not dirty , is a purely colour of volcanic sand !
4. DIVINE LANDSCAPE
I was impressed by the beauty of nature in Tenerife.
Along with variance of magnificent palm trees.
5. SIAM PARK
Siam Park is the largest water park in Tenerife and has become one of the best water parks in the world! So if you are adrenaline lover you have to go there for sure , as well they have attractions for family and more relaxing ones .
I will surely go back there next year ! I hope you enjoyed reading !
